Our Story

Hello, my name is Nakema, CEO and Founder of Ketrell's Cake Pops and Treats. I've always had a niche for decorating, rather it was decorating my home or making just about anything POP with my creativity, mastering a vision. It all started when I became the lead cake decorator for Baskin Robbins where I learned how to decorate cakes and prepared other desserts. Using my creativity, I was asked to set up for a Baby Shower where I planned, prepared and created a variety of treats and styled my first dessert  table. Everything came out perfect and my dessert table was definitely a conversation starter! Guests inquired about my services and I responded with "It's just for fun" but I'm sure I can help you plan your next event. Setting a new trend in my local hometown, one order led to another where my clientele quickly grew. In less than one year, I was sending out invoices and ordering supplies! Here I am today, CEO & Founder of Ketrell's Cake Pops and Treats. Otherwise, known as KCPT.
